There is a Creche in church at the Sunday 10.30am service where parents stay with their children and are able to take part in the service.
3-7 yrs (approx age 3-Y2)

7-11 yrs (Y3-6)

Explorers meet during part of the Sunday 10.30am service in the Church Hall.

Lamplighters

Lamplighters is a club for Primary School children aged 4-11, meeting Friday evenings 6.25-7.30pm (NB: Doors open @ 6:15pm) in St John's Church Hall. It is a support group for the Leprosy Mission and has run for many years. There is a waiting list which you are welcome to join by phoning the church office (020-8303-1107) or by e-mailing stjohns.welling@virgin.net

Playgroup

There is a 5-day a week Ofsted registered Playgroup which meets in the Church Hall Mon-Fri 9.30am - 12.00 and Mon 1-3.30pm for 30 weeks a year. Children need to be 2 yrs 9 months and there is a waiting list. Children can stay up until school age if they don't join a school nursery. Open Door

Open Door is a Carers and Toddlers Club on Thursdays 1.30-3.00pm in the Church Hall during term-time. Children from birth to school age are welcome with their Mum, Dad, Grandparent, Childminder or other relative or friend. The cost is 50p per week per family. Prior booking or registration is not necessary.

SPARK in the Park (not weekly)

SPARK in the Park is a week of children's activities in Danson Park during the summer holiday. It is run by Churches Together in Welling and Bexleyheath, and takes place in the afternoon for Primary Age children, with evening activities for older Young People and families. Activities are free. 11-14 yrs (Y7-9)

Dubsters meet for a shorter time during part of the Sunday 10.30am service in the Church Hall.
