Spark In The Park

SPARK in the Park is a week of activities for children, teenagers and families which takes place in Danson Park generally during the last week in July or first week in August.
SPARK in the Park 2012 will be on
Mon 30th July - Fri 3rd August 2012
Hundreds of children come every afternoon 1.30- 4.00pm to play sport and games, take part in craft activities, play on inflatables and have their faces painted. There are refreshments available at a low cost and there are no other charges. Many families come out for the afternoon and spend it on a picnic blanket enjoying the sunshine while their children are occupied nearby. Halfway through the afternoon all activities stop for about 20 mins and there is an altogether time which includes singing, drama, a quiz, a Bible story and a messy game. Participation is optional.
Children remain the responsibility of those who bring them at all times.
Evening activities take place 6.30-8.30pm and in 2011 were:
Mon Family Quiz Night
Tues Family Fun Night with free Barbecue
Wed Talent Show
Thurs All Age Football
Fri Chill out night (13+)
