Young People

We value Young People at St John's. We have groups that meet weekly for the following age groups:
Dubsters 11-14 yrs (Y7-9)
Dubsters meet 6-8pm on Sunday evenings during term-time. They play games, pray and worship, have Bible teaching, have fun and spend time together. Sometimes they have outings together, and they go to Angelspace at Rochester Cathedral four times a year. Periodically they stop meeting on Sunday nights for a term to join in Youth Alpha with other young people in Bexley on Saturday nights. Dubsters is a group shared between Bishop Ridley Church in Falconwood, St Peter's Church in Bexleyheath and St John's Church in Welling.
Sunday morning Dubsters at St John's meet in addition during a short part of the Sunday 10.30am service. On the first Sundays in the month the full Dubsters group attend the Praise Service at 6.30pm at St John's. Dubsters also meet fortnightly in a boys' cell and a girls' cell on Thursday early evenings.
You are welcome to turn up and visit them if you are interested in joining.
3Dub 14-18 yrs (Y10-13 or equivalent)
3Dub meets at Bishop Ridley Church on Sunday evenings 7-9.30pm each week. On the first Sundays in the month they attend the Praise Service at St John's at 6.30pm. You are welcome to turn up any evening and give them a try. 3Dub is a shared group between Bishop Ridley and St John's. They too pray and worship, study the Bible, play games, have fun, and hang out together at other times. They meet fortnightly in 2 cell groups in different homes on different meeting nights.
